ABOUT THE EVENT
Art Criticism in the Name of Art and Diversity
In this course, you get the chance to be an art critic for a day!
You will participate in a 90-minute crash course on the craft of criticism, exploring its many forms and purposes.
You will also have the opportunity to translate your thoughts, sensory impressions, and opinions from mind to paper.
The course particularly emphasizes using your own lived experiences and knowledge in criticism, as it is the breadth and diversity of these perspectives that make criticism engaging to write, read, and discuss.
No prior knowledge is required—just an active, curious, and open mind.
