ABOUT THE EVENT

This workshop offers an immersive experience that bridges technical precision with cognitive understanding.

In "ToBe", movement becomes a fusion of the body's sensory feedback and the mind's awareness.

The class is built from a set of exercises that help in creating connections between the technical and mental approach towards movement through the sensory system.

We will Emphasize the complete sense of the body rather than the fragmented appearance of it, and point out the technical aspect of movements through understanding their origins, direction, and completion.

We will work on our listening and reactionary abilities to information, improving our observation abilities and spanning our physical expressions, developing the ability to be attentive to ourselves and the environment: being, performing and observing simultaneously.

Elevating the question: How can we improve and perfect movements without losing awareness of our mental state of mind.

The workshop is comprised of improvisation and repertoire from Flekker.
