NOT MY BONES  invites us to reflect on the body memories,  as tools for understanding our perspectives, heritage, and identity. Through the metaphor of shadows, the production explores how choreographer Makurumbandi uses movement to interact with society. The performance challenges us to question societal expectations about our bodies and embrace our own uniqueness. By blurring the lines between physicality and spirituality, we are prompted to consider the lessons nature's diversity can teach us.
