Some performances just don't let go once they're over. Lucid Absurdities by the Greek company Tarantism was one of them.
Through a physical and surreal stage language, the performance took the audience into a dreamscape where memories, fears and desires slid seamlessly between fantasy and reality.
In this retrospective, we share an excerpt from the performance, along with an after-talk with the artists behind the work. The conversation opens up for reflections on the creative process, bodily expression, and how dreams and the subconscious were used as input into the choreographic work.
